I'm a huge fan of quality scents so over the years I have managed to put together a massive collection of first-rate fragrances in my bathroom cabinet. To tell you the truth I don't follow that silly rule that some parfumes should be used only in certain seasons. Still there are certain fragrances that I tend to use much more frequently when the weather is colder (or warmer). Now I'm going to show you two of my fall-winter favourites. One of them is The One by Dolce & Gabbana and the other one is a classic Elizabeth Arden parfume called Fifth Avenue...
A Dolce & Gabbana illat, a The One (az első, eredeti kiadás), 2008-ban született és azóta kultikus illattá nőtte ki magát. Ez egy orientális-virágos illat, melyben a barack és a mandarin egy jó adag édes vaníliával lett fűszerezve. Az édes, meleg illatban fellelhető még liliom, szilva és jázmin is, keleties jellegét pedig az ámbrának és a pézsmának köszönheti. Az üveg egyszerű, letisztult... egy szóval: tökéletes. Beszéljenek helyettem a képek, amiket már a gyönyörűséges új fényképezőgépemmel lőttem. Imádok ilyen mutatós tárgyakat fotózgatni!
This Dolce & Gabbana fragrance called The One (the very first edition) was born in 2008 and since then it has become a cult fragrance. It's an oriental-floral scent with the top notes of peach and mandarin spiced up with a great amount of vanilla. In this warm and sweet fragrance there can also be found a hint of lily, plum, and jasmine while its oriental feeling comes from amber and musk. The bottle is very simple and minimal... in one word: perfect. Let the pictures do the talking, which I have taken with my band new camera. I love taking photographs of such beautiful objects!
A Fifth Avenue Elizabeth Ardentől már mondhatni ősrégi illat 1996-ból. Szerény véleményem szerint ha egy parfüm ennyi ideje piacon van , akkor csak tudhat már valamit. Édesanyám is ezt neszelhette meg, amikor meglepett ezzel az illattal az egyik szülinapomon. Jó döntés volt. Ez egy virágos-ámbrás illat, mely összetételében hasonlóságot mutat az előző parfümmel, mivel ebben is található bergamott, barack, jázmin, mandarin, ámbra, pézsma és vanília is. A csomagolás megint nagyon egyszerű, de szemet gyönyörködtető.
Fifth Avenue by Elizabeth Arden is as old as time - it was created way back in 1996. In my humble opinion if a parfume can be on the market for such a long time it probably knows a thing or two. Probably this was my mum's opinion too when she bought a bottle of this fragrance for my birthday. It was an excellent choice. It's an ambery-floral scent which contains a lot of similar elements as the previous parfume: bergamot, peach, jasmine, mandarin, amber, musk and vanilla as well. The package is simple yet very pleasing for the eyes again.
Mindkét illat nagyon tartós rajtam és egy csipetnyi melegséget és luxusérzetet nyújt. Ideálisak arra, hogy megédesítsék az őszi és téli hidegebb napokat. Nektek mi a kedvenc őszi-téli parfümötök?
Both fragrances are very long lasting on me and give me a feeling of warmth and luxury. They are ideal to make the colder days of fall and winter sweeter. What is your favourite fall-winter parfume?
